About
So you want to know my story? Pull up a chair
I’ve been a photographer on the Mornington Peninsula for quite a few years now, and love it more and more everyday.
Why do I love it?
Because I believe that it’s the everyday moments that need to be celebrated and not despised. We all feel the pressure to fit in and look like everyone else - manicured and perfect, windswept on the crest of a breathtaking coastline. Sounds lovely! The problem is, that part of our lives is approximately 0.01% of our lived experience. The rest? Screaming kids, pasta sauce stuck to the bottom of the pan, running late, work, coffee, laughter and tears, pulling up weeds, scrolling instagram and shopping.
Not to mention the logistical impossibility of getting the family in a neat cluster, on a beautiful day, facing the camera with beautifully synchonised smiles and eyes open..
I’m one of you. I have kids, I’ve battled self-esteem, I’ve had my fair share of things not going to plan. We’re human. It’s because we push through these things and keep going that life is beautiful and worth celebrating. You, my friend, are beautiful and worth celebrating!
